Enabling 2FA

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra security layer to your Kamili account.

Setup Steps

1. Go to **Account Settings > Security** (via the central Kamili account).

2. Click **Enable Two-Factor Authentication**.

3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).

4. Enter the 6-digit verification code.

5. Save your backup codes in a secure location.

Backup Codes

You'll receive 10 backup codes. Each can be used once if you lose access to your authenticator app. Store them securely.

Supported Methods

  • **Authenticator app** (recommended): TOTP-based codes
  • **SMS** (fallback): Less secure but available as a backup

  • Important

2FA protects your entire Kamili account, including Tasks, Calendar, Mail, and all other products.
